Welcome to Phelan Archives. We have been doing genealogical research for approximately 30 years. Some of the surnames researched are Phelan, Whittredge, Jones, Dobbins, Ball, Gage, and Nourse. Each name links to our gedcom file so you can view the research we have done. If you would like assistance in doing research please contact me at oralee@phelanfine.net. Start with yourself, add your parents and grandparents. If you have children add them and any grandchildren (if you have them). Include as much as you know about each person. Dates are crucial for birth, baptism, confirmation, marriage, divorce, death and burial, but occupation, where they lived, any nicknames they used, and any documentation of community events or military service is very valuable information. Our family is mainly Irish and I have included some interesting links to “Irish Stuff.” I have also added several links for home based businesses.
